We care for hosts' and guests' information and retain what is needed to provide the service.

Information we process
We process the details you add to your invitation: names, event date and location, photos, YouTube links, gift information, delivery and RSVP email addresses, and your optional email preferences. We also store RSVP responses containing guest names and party sizes.
How we use it
We use this information to create and display invitations, process payments, deliver RSVP notifications, prevent abuse, and provide support. If you select the optional email checkbox, we may send updates and promotions, including one reminder 24 hours after an unfinished checkout.
Retention and deletion
Invitations and their information become unavailable and are deleted after the 24-hour period following the event date. Minimal payment records may be retained to meet applicable tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.
Service providers
We may use infrastructure, storage, email, video, and payment providers. Stripe and PayPal process payment information under their own policies; CreateYourInvite does not store card numbers. YouTube provides music playback and video content under its own policies.
Your requests
To request access, corrections, early deletion, or to withdraw consent for email communications, contact hello@createyourinvite.com. We will verify ownership before processing your request.
